The Méthode Mathilde patterns have become my favorites, they're all more beautiful than the last. I finished an Adrienne shirt yesterday, a pattern I had hesitated to buy because I already had other shirt patterns, but I'm so glad I did in the end. I'm thrilled with it. It's so pretty, refined, delicate! An absolute joy to sew and to wear.
I made myself a Héméra dress even though I had never sewn clothes before. I just didn’t know it was an intermediate level pattern. "They didn’t know it was impossible, so they did it." And the instructions are so well done!

This pattern is absolutely stunning! The techniques offered to sew it are excellent, I mean that sincerely. Mathilde always provides assembly methods and finishes that are easy to do but truly satisfying! There are two finishing options depending on your sewing level and the thickness of your fabric. A serger is not essential. The Giselle top is the perfect wardrobe basic!
I had an absolute blast sewing this pattern! It’s fantastic in every way. Everything fits together perfectly, and the instruction booklet is really well done!
The Edmée dress is fully lined with very beautiful finishing touches. And, as always with Mathilde’s patterns, the instructions are very detailed. It’s a real pleasure to sew.
The pattern is so well explained, thanks to the PDF guide and the video. It was a lot of firsts for me: invisible zipper, lining, interfacing... I had so much to learn. And I succeeded with flying colors!
This pattern is a marvel. First, the fit is perfect, very refined and super flattering. Then, the booklet! I mean, the instruction booklet! I’ve never seen anything like it: it’s beautiful and very detailed. The dress is fully lined, which makes it feel high-quality (it feels like you’ve created a little gem).

I sewed my first dress with Antoinette, and I’m over the moon. Everything is well explained and complete. The dress itself (made in double gauze cotton) is absolutely comfortable while being very flattering.
The patterns are very precise and well-developed. You can tackle one and turn it into a great learning experience. What a joy it is to sew a garment with such beautiful finishes! Go for it! With Mathilde’s instructions, it’s totally manageable for beginners. Right now, I’m sewing the Scarlette as a dress, pure happiness! It feels so rewarding to achieve these finishes!
Je recommande ce patron si bien expliqué grâce au PDF, mais aussi et surtout grâce au tutoriel vidéo. Tout était clair du début à la fin. Beaucoup de premières pour moi : la fermeture invisible, la doublure, l’entoilage… j’avais tout à apprendre et j’ai tout réussi. Je suis vraiment ravie de ma robe !
Je suis débutante. J’ai vraiment voulu m’appliquer donc j’ai pris mon temps et j’ai bien fait parce que le résultat est génial. C’est ma toute première robe !
